The Graphics/Desktop Publishing Unit is one of the Units in the Materials Development Section of NFED. It is tasked with the responsibility of designing, developing and producing all instructional and awareness creation materials in the fifteen (15) adopted Ghanaian Languages and English It monitors the printing process of all materials required for the National Functional Literacy Programme to ensure quality control. Materials are developed up to the camera-ready stage whilst commercial printers are contracted for the printing.

Some of the materials developed by the Unit are Primers, Instructional Manuals and Facilitators Manuals in the fifteen (15) adopted Ghanaian languages up to camera-ready stage. Others are Follow-Up and Easy to Read Books, Greeting and Invitation Cards and NFED calendars.
